Nick's white coat.

This is a little over a month ago so yes I am slacking. Nick had his white coat ceremony! It is still hard to grasp that Nick is going to be a doctor because it is seems so far away, but it is feeling more and more real all the time. I am so proud of him. He is working so hard and is determined to do well and its paying off! Amazing job babe!!

If I must...

Nick and I are getting so excited for our two little boys I just wish time would fly a little faster. It is so fun to feel them both moving around all the time. My stomach looks like jello when they are both kicking it is so weird to watch.
I made a promise to post some prego pictures to a friend so here they are... I would be much happier burning them! For some reason my hair is frazzled in all of these pictures... so be nice.
This is me right after i found out at almost 20 weeks.
again at 23 weeks (ya i popped in 3 weeks)
and the joy I am living today... 28 weeks. The only question is what am I going to look like in 8-10 more weeks!!! I am not sure I want to know.

Oh my gosh is all I can say

So Nick and I went to the doctor yesterday to find out the sex of the baby.  We were so excited and were both sure it was a boy. We get there and as usual they make you wait the mandatory 20 minutes in your room before the doctor finally comes in, by this time I am so excited my heart  was pounding.  So a nurse finally comes in and begins with rubbing goo all over my belly...

Nurse: Here is your baby's heart it looks good.  All five fingers and toes very good.  The spine is looking perfect everything is looking great.

Nick and I: waiting for her to tell us if its a boy or girl!!!

Nurse: and here is baby B.

Nick: Say what?

Nurse:  Oh you guys didn't know you are having twins?

Me:  Ha ha she is joking, your joking right?

Nurse:  I wouldn't joke about something like that

Nick and I:  Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, no way!!!

So thats how we found out the big big news!  I am pretty sure that I cried and laughed for about twenty minutes and I couldn't wipe the smile off my face.  The nurse had to stop the ultra sound because my belly was shaking too much.  We are so so excited and so blessed to be having two healthy baby's.

Then the next part finding out the sex...

Nurse: I am trying to get Baby A to hold still he is a mover!

Me: Oh yeah, he is for sure a boy then.

Nurse: Baby A, its a boy!! See his little pee pee?
(Can't see it in this pic just a side profile.  Baby A on bottom)

Me: I knew it!

Nurse:  Baby B, Its another boy!
(Baby B on top a little squished!  Thats his arm head and ear.)
Apparently, hyper active Baby A had his foot on baby B's face!  Poor B is already gettin beat up on.  They are already fighting its so much fun.

So there you have it.  We are  having two healthy baby boys.

We were so excited last night nick and I had to go buy our first little outfits.  Nick actually picked them out because he was a wild silent destructive little boy and got into a lot of mischief.  The little outfits say "Here comes trouble". We are definitely expecting a lot of trouble...ready or not here comes TWO!!!

Big news

As most of you already know Nick and I are going to have a baby!!! We are very excited and we are expecting the cute little thing on March 5th.  Which, means I am 3 months along or 14 weeks.  It doesn't really feel like I am pregnant except for my belly is starting to poke out just a little to make me look chubby. mmm love the pooch. I just want to jump straight into the big round belly I don't like the middle part.
I have lived in Vegas now for 2 weeks and Nick for 4.  We are beginning to adjust to the hot hot weather, and henderson has not yet caught my love, but we will see.  It's just not like home in Utah.   I never realized what a family girl and homebody I am and ill admit, sometimes I let my emotions get the best of me, which could be my hormones at the moment.  One thing that has made this move easier is having Nick's sister Marci and her cute little baby sawyer to keep my sanity while Nick studies his life away.  I am so grateful for family!!  Nick is doing very well in all his classes, he is working so hard and I am so proud of him.  I don't know how him and Nate (Marci's husband) do it every day. They are in class for 8 hours a day and then come home and study until 1-2 in the morning and then wake up the next morning for 8 am class.  The poor guys are only getting 5-6 hours of sleep or less!!
Even though Nick is super busy he is handling it so well.  He makes time for me and knows I need attention (yes I am a little needy) nick likes to call me latchy.  Ill try to be a better blogger since we live in a different state, just know that its hard for me and I really don't like it!!

CALIFORNIA/ANNIVERSARY

Disneyland was the first thing that we did, it was a lot of fun! Nick hadn't been since he was little and he didn't really remember a lot of it. So I tried to get him on all the best rides and the most memorable ones. There is only one ride that I couldn't get him on because my brother-in-law Marshall told him it was stupid and he shouldn't go, and yes I am still mad at him. It just so happened to be my favorite ride as a kid "Its a small world"!! Now I know the song can grate the nerves a little bit, but who is with me? Who thinks that this ride no matter how old you are needs to be ridden at least once!!?
The famous Splash Mountain! We made sure Nick had the front seat so he could get the full experience. He was soaked!! Ha ha ha (my sister nicole, marshall and Lisa clear in the back.)
The boys went deep sea fishing while the girls had a beach day. They all caught little baby fish the longest one wasn't even a foot. This is my dad, he caught such a small fish that he decided to just throw it back out as bait. Even doing that he didn't reel in anything much bigger then what you see! He really loves gettin his hands dirty cant ya tell?

My niece Hallie, she loved the beach!!

Nick and i walked down to the pier one night and watched the surfers. We ate at a restaurant at the end of the pier called Ruby's, they had the best shake I have ever had! yum
My nephew Matt and my dad. Seriously cutest little boy ever!!
Another beach day! We went boogie boarding and made the best looking sand castle ever!
Nick thinks its cool to hang out by the pool with socks and shoes. ha ha so sexy!!

Arizona, loved it!

First time going to the Hoover Dam.  It was crazy.  I cant believe how big that bridge is going to be!!!  Not sure that I would trust it I might still be tempted to go the long way.
We went to Arizona for Spring training.  I had never been to Arizona and I may have fallen in love.  It might have been that it was a perfect 70 degrees.  We were supposed to go to two games, but poor Nick got sick.  He said that it was the sickest he has ever been and is very serious about it.  So he doesn't like it when I tell him he was being a wussy.  He made it to Saturdays game.  Which is the one that I wanted to go to anyway because the Rangers were playing.  Not even the Rangers but Josh Hamilton. Mmm... love him.
Just leavin for the game.
Cutest little Yankee fan ever.  This is baby Sawyer, its Nick's sisters baby.  So adorable I had to blog this picture.
